We never discard left over pancakes. You can always enjoy them later for breakfast the next day or as finger snacks later. We store the pancakes in the refrigerator of the freezer. We store the pancakes in sandwich zip lock bags. If storing pancakes in the freezer place wax paper between each pancake.
Reheating leftover pancakes can be done in different ways:
1) Microwave each 2-3 pancakes for 10-15 seconds. Don't over heat.
2) Place pancakes into toaster and heat up. (our favorite way to heat pancakes)
Serve with your favorite toppings!
If you want to eat the pancakes in several days or a week later store the pancakes into freezer zip lock bags and separate the pancakes with wax paper so they do not stick to each other once they're frozen therefore making easy to separate for reheating. Place them in the freezer. You can reheat the pancakes using the 2 methods listed above.
Our family enjoys our pancakes for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert!! We even enjoy them as quick finger food snacks!! Kids LOVE them for after school snacks! So don't throw out your leftover pancakes. Store them and eat them later. They taste just as great as if you just made them!! Enjoy! And thank you for not wasting!
