SweetStacks was featured in the AppleSeeds Newsletter written by Valentina Bellicova. It was an honor to be recognized by another successful business. Here is the article. Seedling Award – Elaine Babauta, President Sweetstacks We sat next to each other, hungrily taking in valued information and speedily taking notes; notes, that I hoped I would later be able to decipher. I didn’t quite get something and leaned over to look at her notes, and that is how Elaine and I got to know each other. We were attending Guerrilla Business School in Los Angeles . Each of us had a fledgling business and we were there to up the ante toward its success. We spent some time during break to talk about what our businesses were and she impressed me tremendously. It wasn’t just her warm personality, or the sparkle in her eyes when she spoke, it was her laser like focus and the passion with which she spoke of her business which was yet to be launched. We stayed in touch. She has since launched that business. It is successful. It is called Sweestacks. Here in her own words: “SweetStacks uses the homemade, Pacific Islander recipes that have been in our family for generations to make delicious gourmet pancakes and scrumptious desserts. The SweetStacks Company has been built on the values, support and love of a close-knit family rich in Pacific island culture. >From generation to generation, our family heritage has focused on building and cherishing family relationships. We also love to eat! When our family gets together we cook and eat delicious food, we laugh and have fun, and we enjoy and cherish each other’s company! SweetStacks makes decadent, great tasting comfort foods: gourmet pancakes and fine Pacific Islander desserts from our secret family recipes. Our mission and passion is to provide our clients with authentic, high quality, great tasting, rich gourmet food products as well as provide excellent client service. It is our hope that they will enjoy our rich foods and then build their family traditions around our treasured sweetness.” Elaine Babauta, President of SweetStacks left the corporate world after 20 years of service to finally become an entrepreneur in pursuing the dream of packaging her family’s Pacific Islander recipes that have been passed down through the generations and be able to share with others. Her mother, father, siblings and nieces and nephews are all actively involved in the company. For having taken a seed and nurtured it to fruition, we give the Seedling Award to Elaine. We wish the seedling to grow, produce more and develop into an orchard. Order your own Sweetstacks! Valentina Bellicova, President and Owner of Sit BooBoo Sit www.sitbooboosit.com |

Do you Deserve the BEST Things in Life? |

Do you deserve the BEST things in life? When was the last time you really had a delicious stack of pancakes?
Do you go to the grocery store and pick up the typical pancake mix and settle for below average, dry, thin, rubbery, bland pancakes? You have to add water to the mix which should give you an idea of the low quality you're going to get. The pancakes are tasteless you have to smother them with butter and syrup in order to get any satisfactory taste to satisfy your craving. And then when you devour them you come to the conclusion that pancakes are one of THE Best comfort foods ever, when in reality you have just eaten a cardboard smothered with butter and syrup. Do you ever feel that way? Without the butter and syrup it would just be a tasteless rubbery flat cake. Believe it or not you just got ripped off! You might as well just drink the syrup and sip the butter alone to satisfy your craving! You deserve BETTER!
Or how about this scenario?..In order to get some great tasting pancakes you have to venture out to your local breakfast diner having to wait in line for an hour because you're not the only one craving the popular breakfast comfort food. And by the time you're seated, have ordered your pancakes and have eaten them you have spent $25 and at least 2 hours of your precious time has gone by. And you still come to the conclusion that pancakes are THE Best comfort food ever!
When was the last time you really had the very BEST pancakes ever in your life? Do you remember when, where and why they tasted soooo good? I would bet that you would remember that occasion because considering the selection of pancake mixes out there it's uncommon to come across some great tasting pancakes. Well, we are here to make sure you experience the VERY BEST pancakes ever. We are confident that you will remember SweetStacks.
SweetStacks specializes in providing quality, great tasting, rich gourmet food products including the VERY BEST gourmet pancakes you will ever taste. We guarantee it.
Our pancakes are THE 'Gourmet' of pancakes. Imagine a tall stack of piping-hot, moist, fluffy, rich, sweet, soft pancakes like the picture on our HOME page. They're soo moist that you don't need a knife to eat them.. it's not necessary. That's right. Other things not necessary are syrup and butter. Why? You may ask. No syrup or butter on pancakes?! Who ever heard of eating pancakes without those main additives?! We would normally agree with you but SweetStacks is the exception. Yes, SweetStacks pancakes are soo rich and sweet you can enjoy them without any toppings. In fact, our family eats them as a sweet finger food snack. However, don't let that stop you from adding your favorite toppings. In fact, add delicious fresh toppings and they are even more delightful, delicious and heavenly! SweetStacks pancakes are 'the best tasting', rich, sweet, fluffy, moist, flavorful, 'world's finest', delicious, 'out of this world', 'will blow you away' pancakes! That's what our clients are telling us. SweetStacks are easy and quick to make and most of all they can be made in the comfort of your own home! No need to venture out of your home with the high gas prices, no waiting in long lines or paying high food ticket prices. We ship directly to you!
You can enjoy having the BEST pancakes ever anytime, in your own home with your family and friends. It can't get any better than that! Kids especially LOVE our SweetStacks!! My nieces and nephews grew up on these pancakes and absolutely LOVE them! Our gourmet pancake mixes also make great gifts for any occasion. Don't your loved ones and freinds deserve the BEST, too?
So don't delay. Buy your SweetStacks now. We want you to have the BEST experience ever in enjoying one of America's favorite comfort foods. Sincerely, Elaine Babauta |

FUNDRAISER: Contribution to H.E.A.R. Project in Denver, CO |

H.E.A.R. Project is a small, all volunteer group in Denver, CO that provides funds for children with hearing loss. Research firmly shows that children who are identified early and have early access to sound will perform better socially and academically throughout their life. Sadly, most insurance companies do not help with the cost of hearing care. In Colorado, only a very small number of the poorest children are eligible for public assistance, so many working class families need help with these costs. The H.E.A.R. Project helps pay for hearing aids, repairs, assistive devices, cochlear implant programming and sometimes diagnostic services. They just organized five years ago. So far, they have helped about 200 children. SweetStacks was happy to donate two Gift Baskets filled with SweetStacks and other goodies for their Silent Auction at their Fundraising Golf Tournament. All proceeds will go to benefit the H.E.A.R. Project. |
